Welcome to
the Worlds of the Ramblin' Rose
Here are my other children. They bring me much company and many laughs!

Here is shy Jimaica. Yes, I do know how to
spell "Jamaica", but she is named after my friend, Jim. She is my oldest pet and
has been with me longest. ![]() |

This is Krishna, my bob-tail cat. He's
a real sweetie, but loves only me. He is the newest addition to my family. ![]() |

Lakshmi is my baby. Jimaica found her and her
brother, who died. The two of them fit together in the palm of my hand. I bottle fed
Lakshmi, and look at her now! ![]() |

"Hang Loose, Babe!"
Since I first made this page, my household has changed. Jimaica is all grown up. Lakshmi and Krishna were the proud parents of 5 kittens, one of which I kept. He is now two years old. His name is Gabriel. He is on the right in the photo below. What a crew! Ain't this just the life?
Is everybody comfy?
On Sept. 24, 2001, my dear, dear Krishna (the black & white cat above) was apparently hit by a car while on his daily jaunt outside. He was my favorite pet, and I was heart broken. We all miss him terribly. Now Gabriel, the red & white cat, is #1 Kitty.
I drove a 6-hour round trip to find a new cat, hoping to find one similar to Krishna. I ended up with not one, but two, full-blooded manx kittens. One not only looks very much like, and feels like Krishna, but has his scaredy-cat, anti-social ways as well. The other is a soft ragdoll, like Gabriel. They are 7-month old males. I've named them Hercules and Romeo. Here they are:
