Puerto Rico, El Yunqué Rainforest
| I took the following photos on May 30, 1995. I was staying in the town of Fajardo on the east coast of the island. El Yunqué is a short drive from there. I arrived just as the rain was about to come. It was too late in the afternoon to walk the trails, a woman alone, or so I thought. Therefore, I saw only what I could see from the road or around the visitor's center. |
Background music is "Coqui." Coqui is a small frog whose call is heard throughout the island. How beautiful it was to listen to it's call, Co-kee, Co-kee!, which you hear imitated in the music.
